WE Event #1: God’s Promises to Noah- and to us

Join us on March 20th for an intergenerational event that is a fun, interactive time of sharing and learning. We’ll start with a meal at 6 and then there will  a drama, a craft (or a time to “build something”) with sharing and fellowship.
Sign up in the Foyer if you would like to help with the meal.

This is the first of six events.

 Fall Work Day

Saturday—October 4th      9AM to 3 PM

Please plan to spend part of your day working on our property.

Someone on the Property Committee will be at church all day.

Volunteers to provide a light lunch would be appreciated.

Annual tasks on the list include:

  • Washing windows and screens
  • Thorough cleaning of nursery items
  • Cleaning exterior of the building
  • Yard work around the buildings

A special project will involve transforming the parking lot garden into a LOW MAINTENANCE green space. Bring containers if you would like to take some of the plantings home with you. Suggestions on how to proceed appreciated. We may use some of the flag stones by the back door.

Many hands make light work and help to reduce our maintenance costs.

Thank you to those who have volunteered to clean the sanctuary this year.
Thank you to Doug Kingsbury for his year-round attention to our buildings.

Please note—the old pulpit currently being stored in our shed, needs a new home.   If you are interested in this piece of the past, please contact Leslie Hooper (827 4754)
